 You probably know we have a huge pet overpopulation in the South. But did you know you can make a big difference? Over 80,000 animals are killed each year just in the atlanta area. There are a couple of things we can do to help put an end to these needless deaths. First, we must Spay and Neuter all pets. All KanineKids animals are altered prior to adoption. This is a major part of the ultimate solution. Secondly, we must find homes for the animals out there. There are homes out there. We've never had an animal that we were unable to eventually find a home for. It just takes time. County shelters don't have time. They can usually afford to hold an animal for a week at the most. But, with your help, we can offer these dogs the time they need to find the perfect home. Yes, we're referring to foster care. People just like you who open up there home to a dog for a little while.
